Statistician Manager, Knowledge Discovery (Code: SM1010)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Individuals will partner cross functionally to deliver statistical solutions. The types of tasks this role will be responsible for include the following:

- To liaise with local team and other US Office and assist them in growing revenue locally.
- Collaborating with others to understand the business objectives
- Identify and understanding large datasets needed for the different projects
- Identification on model statistical needs
- Identification of technical requirements and implementation needs for the implementation of statistical software (SPSS)
- Designing and managing data, building models and assessing their quality
- Designing experiments and assessing their results
- Developing and designing monitoring process for model performance
- Managing day to day project deliveries
- Making business recommendations
- Communicating results and recommendations to broader groups
- Identifying opportunities to apply statistics to improve business performance
- Project management skills ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives/key deadlines


QUALIFICATIONS:

- Masters degree in Statistics, Operational Research, or similar quantitative field of study
- University degree (BSc) in Statistics/Mathematics.
- Ideally 2 years experience in an managerial position related to CRM statistical modeling, Customer Insight, Campaigns Management, Business Intelligence
- Excellent command of MS Office Suite.
- Experience on propensity models (logistic regression, Logit and Nested Logit, Chaid), design of experiment and other statistical techniques
- Expertise in classification, segmentation, and clustering/profiling
- Working knowledge of SPSS, knowledge of similar statistical programming package as SAS will be an advantage
- Experience with relational databases. Knowloge on SQL will be an advantage
- Communicating clearly and concisely to individuals from business/ technical backgrounds
- Influencing others in both verbal and written mediums
- Entrepreneurial spirit, eager to learn and grow
- Fluency in verbal and written English
- Fulfilled military obligations.
