Senior Scoring Analyst (based in Athens)

The role:
• Develop robust analytical solutions for diverse clients, primarily in the financial sector – this includes the development of statistical models and ad hoc data analysis;
• Work with client personnel and other departments within Experian to understand requirements, interpret data and resolve queries;
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers and local consultants regarding the delivery of results, enabling them to manage client expectations;
• Question results through applied intelligence and interpret into conclusions and recommendations for clients.
• Extract, formulate and manipulate data to create the structured samples necessary to carry out data analysis/scorecard development;
• Follow established quality procedures utilizing both in-house and third party software;
• Plan, organize and complete own workload in order to meet project commitments within agreed timescales;
• Share information across the ‘analytics community’ within Experian, working together to achieve results;
• Mentoring analysts in the team;
• Limited travel outside Greece may be necessary for some projects.


The successful candidate will have:
• Very well knowledge on Retail Banking Issues
• Prior Experience with PD, EAD or LGD models
• Experience on Applicational and Behavioral Models
• Basel Ratings Framework

as well as
• Strong technical and analysis skills;
• Passion for devising practical solutions to challenging problems;
• Fluent in English – both written and spoken;
• Project Management Skill;
• Software Skills on analytical and or customer management tools;
• 5 Years experience in analytics and/or the financial sector.
