Job Title: Modelling Statistician
Reports to: Analytics Manager

The Analytics & Shopper Knowledge (ASK) Group is a dedicated team of marketing return on investment experts whose objective is to drive manufacturer and retailer profit by maximising the potential of Electronic Points of Sale (EpoS) data, shopper data, as well as data from other sources.
IRI is seeking to recruit a dynamic person with energy and dedication, looking for a challenging career in the research industry, for the position of:
Modelling Statistician (MS0313)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working in Analytics with large datasets
Designing and managing data, building models and assessing their quality
Designing experiments and assessing their results
Developing and designing monitoring process for model performance
Project management skills ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives/key deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree (BSc) in Statistics/Mathematics.
Masters degree in Statistics, Operational Research, or similar quantitative field of study
Minimum 1-2 years of Experience in Econometric models
Excellent command of MS Office Suite.
Experience in propensity models (logistic regression, Logit and Nested Logit, Chaid), design of experiment and other statistical techniques is a plus
Exposure in Market Research is a plus
Expertise in Association rules, classification (regression tress), clustering techniques, segmentation and profiling is a plus
Experience with relational databases. Knowledge of SQL will be an advantage
Fluency in verbal and written English
Fulfilled military obligations.
