About the Job
IBM’s Talent Acquisition Metrics & Analytics Team has an Analyst opening. As a member of the team, you will work with an interdisciplinary group of (HR) professionals using qualitative and quantitative methods to help ensure that IBM attracts, sources, selects, develops, manages, and retains a satisfied, engaged, and high-performing workforce.

The Analyst will be responsible for architecting and implementing statistical, data mining, and optimization within IBM’s Talent Acquisition Organization. You will lead analytics projects that inform and understand the impact of HR processes across the recruitment lifecycle. You will work with internal clients across business and geographical boundaries to design and execute research projects that addresses critical HR business questions. Additionally, you will collect and manage a wide array of HR data, conduct analyses using statistical and mathematical techniques, translate findings into actionable insights, communicate results to stakeholders, and influence process changes. Candidates should have a strong coding and/or analytic skills coupled with strong business acumen and an ability to present complex information to nonacademic audiences.

Infrequent travel may be required.

Requirements
Obtained Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or other quantitative discipline
Experience using one or more statistical programs (e.g., R, SPSS)
Ability to collaborate and work virtually in a globally distributed team
Experience in managing and executing projects
Experience cleaning, restructuring, and merging large datasets
Experience with text and sentiment analysis
Experience creating compelling data visualizations of statistical analyses
Experience using Tableau
Experience designing dashboards
Excellent English written and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information to nonacademic audiences

Preferred Qualifications
Experience creating and managing databases
Expertise with advanced statistical or mathematical analyses (e.g., machine learning, predictive analytics, optimization, data mining)
Desired Skills and Experience
