PhD position at the Mathematics Department of the VU University in Amsterdam

At the Mathematics Department of the VU University in Amsterdam, a PhD
position is available in the field of SANDPILE MODELS and SPATIAL
PROBABILITY MODELS. Potential candidates, with some background in

Department of VU University has a very active probability group, with
many PhD students in various subdisciplines within probability theory.
The current position is funded by the Dutch Science Foundation (NWO),
and is a position for the duration of FOUR years.
