The Center for Development and Cooperation (NADEL) at ETH Zurich is offering a doctoral student position in Development Economics; starting time February/March 2013.

Applicants should have a qualified MA degree in economics or statistics and should fluently speak and write English. Knowledge of German and/or French is helpful but not required. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quantitative methods and is interested in developing economies. Candidates should also be willing to travel for field work in sub-Saharan Africa. The candidate should further bring along good communication skills to work in international teams. Besides own research the PhD student will participate in ongoing research and teaching activities while being at ETH Zurich.
