SAS Programmer
Role: The ideal candidate should have a strong attitude in development of software solutions and share values and passion for innovation and success.
Key Responsibilities:
The Individual will partner cross functionally to develop business critical SAS based software solutions, operating in an international organization. The types of tasks this role will be responsible for include the following:
Collaborating with local and European teams to understand business objectives, existing data processing platforms and users’ mode of operating
Analyzing requirements, designing, developing, testing and implementing efficient SAS based solutions to be integrated within existing processing platforms
Proactively identifying and proposing new solutions supporting business growth and optimizing user experience
Monitoring existing platform performance and making technical recommendations
Liaising with local and European teams in order to actively contribute to international projects
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
Deep knowledge of SAS/Base and SAS Macro language
2 or more years of experience in programming complex, efficient and reliable SAS applications processing large datasets
Unix (HP-UX) basic knowledge (file structure, commands, shell)
Communicating clearly and concisely to individuals from business/ technical backgrounds
Entrepreneurial spirit, eager to learn and grow and positive attitude
Fluency in verbal and written English is a must
Fulfilled military obligations
Required Skills:
University degree (BSc) in Computer Science or equivalent
SAS/AF module
Knowledge of other programming languages: SQL, C++, VBA, .NET (VB / C#)
MS SQL Server
