Post-Doctoral Fellowship
at the Department of Statistics and Operations Research
(School of Business, Economics, and Statistics).

The position is meant to provide a young scientist in the years after obtaining a Ph.D. with support to broaden and deepen his or her research agenda.
Duration of Employment: 4 years, 40 hours/week
Areas of work: The successful applicant will join the faculty and participate in the department's teaching, research, and administrative activities. More details about the Department of Statistics and OR can be found at http://isor.univie.ac.at/.
Requirements: A Ph.D. in statistics, mathematics, or a closely related discipline (completed or pending completion); a strong background in mathematical statistics and probability theory; promising potential for original high-level research; and interest in the areas of model selection and/or time series analysis.
