The Faculty of Forest Sciences at the Swedish University of
Agricultural Sciences is currently seeking a Professor in Mathematical
Statistics applied to forest sciences for a position within the
Department of Forest Resource Management in Umeå. The subject of
mathematical statistics applied to forest sciences falls under the
umbrella of the Biostokastikum center, which serves SLU. The
Biostokastikum center’s purpose is to stimulate scientific development
in the subject area as well as promote quality in research, education,
