3 positions for statisticians in University of Ghent, Belgium

In response to expanding services offered by the Ghent University Center of Statistics (CvS) and the growth of our Advanced (one year) Master Program in Statistical Data Analysis, we are delighted to announce  that we have several new vacancies  for PhDs and/or Masters in Statistical data analysis (or equivalent experience). The new colleagues will join a team dedicated to supporting research (in various fields), training and management of statistical services.



We are  specifically looking for talented and enthusiastic colleagues to fill the following:



-               One full-time postdoctoral position for the coordination and  further development of Statistical Services  (50%) and for Statistical Consulting for young researchers (50%)

-               One half-time postdoctoral position for the support of our students in the Master Statistical Data Analysis

-               One full-time or half-time, senior or junior position to participate as dedicated statistician in contract research serving some large and several smaller projects for government, private  industry and not for profit organisations.

Appointments start for one year, with the intention to continue for the long term.
