The Finance Research Group (FINS) of Vrije Universiteit Brussel is pleased to announce a fifth edition of the workshop entitled: “Recent developments in dependence modelling with applications in finance and insurance.” It will take place on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th September, 2018 on the island of Aegina (close to Athens - can be easily reached by boat).
The list of confirmed invited speakers is as follows:

- Roger Cooke (Technical University Delft, the Netherlands)
- Fabrizio Durante (University of Salento, Italy)
- Enkelejd Hashorva (University of Lausanne, Switzerland)
- Dimitrios Karlis (Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece)
- Elisa Luciano (Collegio Carlo Alberto and University of Torino, Italy)
- Bruno Rémillard (HEC Montreal, Canada)
- José Maria Sarabia (University of Cantabria, Spain)
- Matthias Scherer (TU Munich, Germany)
- Chen Zhou (Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands)
In addition, there will be sessions with contributed talks. If you would like to present a paper, please submit a title and a one-page abstract, and, if available, a full paper before April 15th to demoworkshop2018@gmail.com
You will be informed about the acceptance of your proposal no later than May 1th, 2018.
