Senior Statistician
DESCRIPTION
If you are a statistician with a passion to measure and understand the world around you instead of merely analysing numbers, you can now join us and contribute to the planning and execution of challenging large-scale statistical surveys for our international clients. Our statisticians work on demanding projects encompassing the entire research and survey life cycle, from sample design and survey planning to data processing and data analysis.
You will have the opportunity to work in an open and flexible team-based environment which rewards learning, personal development, talent, ideas and creativity.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidates should have a university degree in statistics and at least an MSc level post-graduate degree in statistics, preferably with an orientation in statistical methods for surveys and survey techniques, and be proficient in statistical programming in R as well as in software packages for statistical visualisation.
Previous professional experience in survey methods and techniques and data analysis of research data or in official statistics will be an asset.
Excellent knowledge of the English language and technical/scientific writing skills are prerequisites.
