AGILIS S.A. - Statistics and Informatics, a company that provides European and other international organisations with high quality consulting services wishes to hire a
Statistician
The candidate will work as a junior consultant in official statistics, being a member of a team of consultants jointly undertaking long term consulting assignments for international organisations such as Eurostat. The job requires frequent travel for meetings and presentations and fluent usage of English as working language.
Duties:
Data processing: retrieval of data from various sources, data integration, data validation, data management
Review of methodological literature on Official Statistics as well as documentation on relevant policies and domains.
Statistical data analysis
Evaluation and development of methods for the production of Official Statistics
Report and bid writing, as well as presentations to audiences of various backgrounds
Obligatory requirements:
B.Sc. in Statistics or Mathematics
M.Sc. in Statistics
Excellent writing and oral expression skills in English
Very good knowledge of programming in R/S Plus
Data management skills using spreadsheets or databases
Advanced level literacy in office software and Internet
