Post-doc in Statistics in Italy - 2800 euros/month - for non-Italian residents
A 12-month research fellowship for an early-career postdoctoral researcher in Statistics and related fields hosted by the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (Unicas) in Italy. The fellowship is given under the condition that the successful candidate submit an application to the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 with Unicas as the host institution. Applicants are free to propose the subfield of research within the field of Statistics and related areas in a fully bottom-up manner.
Eligibility criteria are: (1) holding a Ph.D. by September 11, 2024; (2) the researcher cannot have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Italy for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately prior to September 11, 2024; (3) Maximum 8 years from the date of award of the (first) doctoral degree (time spent not working in research does not count).

Salary: 2,800 euros/month
Main duties: (1) Research activity, with published results; (2) Submission of an MSCA proposal with Unicas as host institution; (3) Teaching at Bachelor's/Master's level up to 70 hours. Remote work is possible up to 30% of the time (not for online teaching).
