Postdoc Position in Biostatistics/Statistical Genetics

As a Post Doc you will work on a joint project of the Departments of Medical Statistics and Bioinformatics, Rheumatology and Immunohematology and Bloodtransfusion of the LUMC, Leiden, The Netherlands. Your work will focus on statistical research and advanced statistical analysis for various studies on Rheumatoid Arthritis. Data of case-control, case-parent triads, twin and family studies are available. The aim of the project is to estimate contributions of various genetic and environmental factors to clustering of Rheumatoid Arthritis in families. New methodology needs to be developed for example for efficient modelling of the effect of maternal genotypes on the disease risk for the child.
