The Biomathematics group at the Faculty of Technology, Bielefeld University, has a vacancy for a

Research Associate (postdoc, TVL-E13)

for a period of (initially) 12 months, starting in November 2011 or later; extension is intended.

We are looking for an individual with a PhD in Mathematics or Mathematical Biology with a research interest in stochastic processes in biology (preferrably either in population genetics or immunobiology).
Apart from research, the individual is obliged to teach
(4 hours per week during term).
