Job Description
The Internet Business Analyst is part of a nimble team reporting directly to senior management with the goal of measuring, analyzing and providing solid advice on the direction of existing Internet products as well as the design of novel ones. The position requires the ability to process, analyze and dissect the data to provide the information insight needed for executive management to take important decisions for every aspect of the Internet operations. The position requires the person to grow to an ultimate data expert on a number of Internet products, taking initiative to design new analyses and being immersed to data to separate the important information from noise. The position requires the persuasive communication of the recommendations to senior-level executives.
In addition you will be required to author product requirements and drive implementation, executing on the position’s responsibilities while project managing contributions of individuals. The position does not require the project management of big, complex projects but rather limited-scope projects and will not have extensive cross-team dependencies.
Responsibilities
· Gather, process and analyze data expeditiously
· Develop compelling, insightful recommendations based on solid data analysis
· Author product requirements
· Drive the execution and implementation of limited-scope software projects
Qualifications
· University degree in Engineering or Information Technology with strong academic record
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and impeccable business judgment; professional distinction in thought leadership and innovation
· Solid communication and interpersonal skills; ability to be personable yet persistent
· Superior modeling and presentation skills
· Prior work experience at a leading management consulting firm is a strong plus
· Prior work experience in business analysis of Internet products is a strong plus
· MBA is a plus
