Norwich Business School is home to a vibrant and engaged academic community engaged in world-class research and subject scholarship and intent on providing teaching excellence across its degree programmes.
The School is seeking to recruit an outstanding academic lecturer in the field of business statistics. The successful applicant will contribute to business statistics and quantitative methods teaching across a number of degrees at Norwich Business School and will aim at developing the quantitative skills of our students. The post holder will also support the enterprise and engagement activities of the school.
The post is available either following ‘Academic, Teaching & Research’ (ATR) or ‘Academic Teaching & Scholarship’ (ATS) terms and conditions. ATR staff are required to promote the study of their subject through teaching and research. ATS staff are expected to provide a leadership contribution to teaching and administration while maintaining subject scholarship but without the requirement to conduct research.
For ATR staff lecturers must have a PhD or be near to completion. For ATS staff a good first degree or an equivalent qualification is essential; and PhD (or nearing completion), or equivalent experience. Applicants must satisfy all the essential criteria detailed in the person specification.
The post is available from 1 September 2016 on a full-time indefinite basis.
