SAS Senior Programmer/ Manager, Knowledge Discovery (Code: SAS0512)
The ideal candidate should have spirit of entrepreneurship and share our values and passion for innovation and success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Individuals will partner cross functionally to deliver statistical solutions. The types of tasks this role will be responsible for include the following:
- To liaise with local team and other US/ EU Office and assist them in growing revenue locally.
- Collaborating with others to understand the business objectives
- Collecting, retrieving and understanding large datasets
- Analyzing data, building models and assessing their quality
- Data manipulation, data mining, using SAS Programming and SQL
- Automating reports
- Monitoring model performance and making business recommendations
- Communicating results and recommendations to senior management and Clients
- Identifying opportunities to optimize data structure and systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters degree in Statistics, Operational Research, or similar quantitative field of study
- University degree (BSc) in Statistics/Mathematics.
- Ideally 4 or more years of experience in statistical modeling and programming related to CRM, Customer Insight or Business Intelligence
- Strong programming experience in SAS base
- Knowledge of other programming languages: SQL or C++
- Experience with relational databases
- Expertise in classification, segmentation, clustering/profiling and Basket Analysis (association rules)
- Excellent command of MS Office Suite.
- Project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives/key deadlines
- Communicating clearly and concisely to individuals from business/ technical backgrounds
- Influencing others in both verbal and written mediums
- Entrepreneurial spirit, eager to learn and grow and positive aptitude
- Fluency in verbal and written English is a must
- Fulfilled military obligations
PLUSES:
- Any other programming package experience as WEKA, SPSS, R or similar statistical packages
- Experience on SAS Base statistical procedures
- Proficiency at R and MS Excel
- Programming skills as VBA, C++
