An International IT Company is expanding its team and is seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
Analytics Consultant

Description
The shortlisted candidate will provide analytical consulting services independently or jointly with other departments to current and prospective customers. He/she will develop statistical and analytical applications and presentations for consulting sessions using knowledge of analytical methods and related procedures and products.

Consultant’s major responsibilities:

to provide support for services that contain a statistical consulting component
to conduct workshop sessions for consulting and assist in training workshops
to provide technical assistance for statistical consulting
to support data acquisition, validation and management from incoming data sources
to participate in in-house corporate training sessions containing statistical material
to contact on-site consulting clients and meet with prospective clients
to review and edit documentation for consulting projects
to provide input to project team so as to define scope and work effort for assigned tasks
to provide reliable delivery of targeted project results in the application of specific methodologies, products and technologies
to contribute to service delivery effectiveness through the consistent application of Best Practices as specified by project plans

The ideal candidate should possess:

Evidence of 2-5 years of professional experience involving implementations of statistical and/or other analytical methods
Significant domain knowledge in CI projects, within the telecommunications’ industry preferably
Experience in data manipulation and statistical analysis using the SAS system or a comparable analytical tool
Ability to communicate with people of various technical backgrounds, think analytically, write and edit technical material, and relate statistical concepts and applications to statistical and non-statistical users
Team as well as individual working spirit
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Fluency in English and computer literacy
Flexibility to travel as per business requirements

Academics:

Quantitative undergraduate studies (University Degree) with solid understanding of business statistics
Master’s Degree in Statistics or Applied Mathematics is considered as a plus

Location: This is a full time job based in Athens.
