Greek Stochastics θ'
We would like to bring to your attention the seventh edition of the Greek Stochastics Meeting which will take place in Tinos, Greece, during 10 - 13 July 2016.
The meeting's primary aim is to facilitate a broad discussion of current research themes related to Big Data and Models .
The workshop will consist of
* 3 short courses
* A limited number of contributed talks
* Poster presentations
The three short courses will be given by :
Eric Moulines ( École Polytechnique) on " When Langevin Meets Markov".
Yee Whye Tee ( University of Oxford) on " Scalable Methods for Bayesian Statistics and Machine Learning".
George Michailidis ( University of Florida) on "Modeling, computation, inference and applications of graphical models".
Important dates:
* Deadline for submission of contributed talk: 1 April 2016
* Notification of acceptance of contributed talk: 11 April 2016
* Deadline for submission of poster presentation: 30 May 2016
Some funding is available for PhD students

Γεια σας. Θα ήθελα να ρωτήσω το εξής: Σε ποιους απευθύνεται κυρίως αυτο το συνέδριο και αν θα είχε νόημα να το παρακολουθήσει ένας προπτυχιακος ή θα ήταν απλά σπατάλη χρόνου και πόρων.

Συγνώμη που άργησα να σου απαντήσω. Κανονικά είναι για διδακτορικό και πάνω αλλά πολλοί μεταπτυχιακοί και κάποιοι προπτυχιακοί θα πάνε. Είναι καλό να πάρετε μια ιδέα τι σημαίνει σύγχρονη στατιστική.
