Greek Stochastics λ'
We should like to bring to your attention the eleventh edition of the
Greek Stochastics Meeting which will take place in Corfu, Greece, on
27-29 August 2019.
The meeting's primary aim is to facilitate a broad discussion of current
research themes related to Stochastic Processes and Computation.
The workshop will consist of
* 3short courses
* A limited number of contributed oral presentations
* Poster presentations
The three short courses will be given by :
* Pierre Del Moral (INRIA) on "Feynman Kac, Mean Field models and simulation".
* Grigorios Pavliotis (Imperial College London) on "Mean field limits for interacting diffusions:
long time behaviour and phase transitions".
* Jonathan Weare (Courant, NYU) on "Understanding errors in Bayesian evidence calculations and some
closely related acceleration strategies for Monte Carlo sampling".
Important dates:
* * Deadline for submission of contributed talk: 31 May2019
* Notification of acceptance of contributed talk: 14 June2019
* Deadline for submission of poster presentation: 20July 2019
