An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Postdoctoral Research Associate with relevant experience to join our multidisciplinary team within the Institutes of Infection and Global Health and Translational Medicine as part of the PreDiCT-TB consortium, a public-private partnership which aims to improve development of tuberculosis drugs. You will work with a comprehensive database of clinical trials in tuberculosis and produce summary and individual patient data systematic reviews relating to the predictive performance of putative surrogate endpoints across drug combinations. You will also work with our PK-PD modelling group to synthesise preclinical data and compare it with human clinical trial results.
You should have a PhD in biostatistics or epidemiology, ideally with experience of clinical trials and systematic reviews and an interest in methodological research (particularly evaluation of biomarkers/prognostic modelling and Network and/or Bayesian meta-analysis). The post is available until 30 April 2017.
