Dear all,
We should like to bring to your attention the twelveth edition of the Greek Stochastics Meeting which will take place in Corfu, Greece, during 25 - 27 August 2020.
The meeting's primary aim is to facilitate a broad discussion of current research themes related to Causal Learning.
The workshop will consist of
* 3 short courses
* A limited number of contributed talks
* Poster presentations
The three short courses will be given by :
Sιlvia Chiappa, DeepMind, on "Causal inference to capture and alleviate bias in recent machine learning methods and applications".
Jim Smith, University of Warwick, on "Customized Causation for Bayesian Decision Analysis: Using graphs to merge expert judgments and high dimensional data together to support decision making".
Vasilis Syrgkanis, Microsoft Research, on "Econometrics and Machine Learning through the lens of Neyman Ortho".

Deadline for submission of contributed talk: 31 May 2020
Notification of acceptance of contributed talk: 14 June 2020
Deadline for submission of poster presentation: 19 July 2020
Some funding is available for PhD students
