Mindworks is currently recruiting for its innovative analytics spin-off agency, Satori Analytics. Satori is a new enterprise aspiring to become a leading analytics agency in Greece and beyond, offering sophisticated analytics services to help it's clients become smarter and more profitable. We are currently looking for an experienced and talented Data Scientist to join our new and growing team.

Job responsibilities
Work within a innovative, collaborative, supportive peer-group to develop our analytical services
Design and implement tools to automate, collect, mash up, process and analyse distributed real-world data.
Take ownership of our analytics projects from development and prototyping through implementation.
Develop and leverage modelling expertise in areas such as predictive analytics, classification, attribution modelling, cohort analysis, churn analysis, stochastic buyer behaviour modelling, simulation, machine learning, neural networks, text analytics, logit, and optimisation.
Clearly communicate methods and conclusions with simple language and innovative visualisations to management and executives.
Provide expertise in analysing and visualising large, complex, and unique data sets. Create new insights that will drive business growth and profitability in the short and long term.
Work effectively within a team as well as a self-driven individual to do research and develop cutting edge and effective solutions for our clients. Manage the network layer and compute cluster to support extensive analysis
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements
A degree in Math, Statistics, Operational Research, Computer Science, Engineering or other quantitative discipline with knowledge of CS
Fluent in English
A team player, excellent communication and collaboration skills
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills
An adept ability for communicating complex technical work to non-technical audiences
Experience in R, SAS, Matlab, SPSS, Mathematica or other tools appropriate for large scale data preparation and analysis
Experience with data mining, machine learning, predictive analytics, statistical modelling tools and underlying algorithms
Proven programming skills (e.g. Java, Python, R, Ruby )
Additional qualifications (optional):
Demonstrated experience with database systems ( e.g. SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL )
Experience working with real time, large scale, high dimensional data sets.
Knowledge of big data software and databases ( e.g. Hadoop, Hive)
Knowledge of text analytics
Knowledge of web analytics
