The European Meetings of Statisticians are among main events for European and world statistics and probability. They are organised under the auspices of the Bernoulli Society for Mathematical Statistics and Probability.
The meetings provide a natural forum for exchange of ideas and learning about the latest scientific developments. By principle the program is broad and appeals to researchers at any age and from all regions of Europe.
The 28th European Meeting of Statisticians will be held in the University of Piraeus, Greece. Piraeus is the main harbour of Greece, situated upon the Saronic Gulf, very close to Athens.

Registration Fees for EMS2010

Before June 01, 2010 After June 01, 2010
Full Rate 250 € 350 €
Bernoulli Society Members 200 € 300 €
Students 120 € 180 €
Accompanying Persons 100 € 100 €
Gala Dinner 70 € 70 €
The conference fees include conference material (book of abstracts, conference programme etc.), coffee breaks, lunches (for 5 days) and participation in the social events. They do not include Gala Dinner. Students must have written proof of their student status upon arrival at the conference registration desk.
* Cancellation Policy
Your registration is binding as soon as confirmed by us. However, participation can only be guaranteed when full payment is received. Cancellations or alterations should be reported as soon as possible. For cancellations received before June 25 , 2008, a refund of 90% of the registration fee will be made. For cancellations between June 25 - June 30 a refund of 80% will be made. After that date cancellations will not be refunded.

extended until April 30, 2010.

Να πω εγώ εντυπώσεις ή όχι; Λες να υπάρχει και άλλος Π.Κ.;
Θα επανέλθω και εγώ με σχόλιο μετά τις ολιγοήμερες διακοπές. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι δεν είχα παρευρεθεί σε ελληνικό για να συγκρίνω αλλά μία γενική εικόνα την απέκτησα. Επανέρχομαι..
